In my prior business life in the technology world for 30+ years, I was tasked with the planning and
execution of training classes and educational seminars throughout the U.S. and Canada. This not only
afforded me the opportunity to travel several times a year but to plan the “fun” after-class outings. It
was the research into the non-touristy highlights of a particular area that was intriguing and continues
to challenge me when putting together a tour or vacation package.
