Richard Haymaker is a seasoned travel industry executive who joined the Viking team as an independent contractor during the summer of 2009.
He is a well known member of the Catholic Community in the Joliet Diocese and has introduced numerous clergy to the Viking Travel organization for the purpose of inviting parishes to operate pilgrimages to various faith based destinations. The dynamic faith based travel market offers a large potential for group travel in various demographics, especially seniors.
Richard has worked in virtually all travel channels in the industry – airlines, tour operators, hotels, cruise lines, international tourism destinations, as well as, support organizations in travel – trade shows and travel reference publishing firms. He brings a host of relationships both in and outside the travel industry. He is a Navy veteran and is proud to be associated with a respected travel organization like Viking Travel and Cruise Shop.
